Track Town Timber is a modular student housing project that uses prefabricated mass timber units to create sustainable, efficient dormitories. Located at the corner of E 15th Avenue and Moss Street, the design employs cross-laminated and mass plywood panels (MPP) to form transportable modules that are craned into place on-site.

The project emphasizes speed of construction, reduced waste, and a low carbon footprint, while fostering natural light, community, and spatial economy. Inspired by Eugene’s identity as “Track Town, USA,” the design reflects movement, rhythm, and the balance between individual and collective student life
